I’ve not been posting much these last few weeks because I’ve been finishing my book on rest. Well, I made my deadline, sent it in on Tuesday, and now am starting to re-enter the world.

I’m pleased with the way the book turned out, though of course that’s how you’re supposed to feel in the days after delivering a manuscript. Now it’s up to my editor to point the manuscript in the direction he thinks it should go. (As Louis Brandeis rightly said, there is no great writing, only great rewriting.) I’ve also got illustrations I need to pull together for the book: I’ve hired an excellent graphic artist to do the illustrations, and am really looking forward to working with him.

But I can also start posting here again.
